In much of my work I seek new uses for discarded materials as I strive to integrate material, form and content. 

Ordering the chaos of a pile of legally shredded currency from the US Mint brings up thoughts about money and women’s lesser share of it in our acquisition-driven society, as well as thoughts about how such works fit into our “time is money” social construct.
