I explore light, form, and volume in both hard and soft materials using the techniques of textile-making, or “women’s work.  The ritual of these repetitive handwork processes is meditative and honors my connections to female ancestors and the feminine spirit. I enjoy creating forms in which the structure is also the armature. and casts shadows which enhance the work.
